MEMBERSHIP gives you a voice in big decisions and an opportunity to commit to YOUR CHURCH in a greater way.
Here at Christ The Rock, it is our firm belief that every Christian should be committed to a local church body, just as each is a member in the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-13).
Membership means you have come into agreement with what we are all about and want to see the church grow as we continue to reach people for Christ.
It is important that members of the church meet certain minimum requirements, so that together we can best direct the course of the church in line with God’s heart and the mission He has given you.
Here are steps we ask you to take BEFORE starting
the Membership Process
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and be actively following Him.
Be water baptized by immersion.
Have a meaningful prayer life.
Read the Bible as a regular part of your daily life.
Regularly attend at least one Sunday worship service each week.
Participate in our community for at least three months.
Faithfully tithe at Christ The Rock.
Agree with our fundamentals of faith and mission statement.
Live in unity by acting in love towards others, refusing to gossip and following the leadership.
Desire to share in the responsibility by praying for our growth, inviting those without a church home and welcoming those who visit.
Please know that membership is not required to regularly attend our church, serve or participate in activities.
